TherapyWorks offers a comprehensive series of courses designed to teach you how to effectively treat myofascial pain syndrome anywhere in the body.

All the courses offer a lab portion, where you will be taught specific hands-on techniques that you can apply immediately in your setting.

Once you have completed course 1, you are ready to go beyond the basics. In courses 2-4 you will learn specific referral patterns and treatment techniques for individual muscles. You will also learn additional and advanced Myofascial Release techniques.

Your instructor, Laurie Connolly, has studied Trigger Point Release with the Dr. Janet G. Travell Seminar Series; Myofascial Release with John Barnes; Craniosacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute; and Energy Medicine with Carolyn Myss and Dr. Norm Shealy. She has created a unique synergy of these different philosophies and techniques that is incredibly effective in the management of chronic musculoskeletal pain.

Physical Therapists: Traditional physical therapy modalities such as exercise, E-Stim, ultra sound, and heat will not alter myofascial trigger points.

Massage Practitioners: Massage, even deep tissue massage, will not eliminate the trigger points without correction of biomechanical dysfunctions and elimination of underlying perpetuating factors.
